The Gwich’in Social and Cultural Institute was contracted to identify the plants that are found in an area known as the Tethegeh Chii vitaii Territoral VIEW POINT on the Dempster Highway. This plant inventory was carried out on September 7, 2012, and during the inventory, berries, flowering plants, mosses and lichens, trees and shrubs and other plants were catalogued, for a total of 26 plant species.
