Legendary Sky Exhibit
Exhibit designed by the Astronomy North Society in partnership with the Department of Education, Culture and Employment, the Canadian Space Agency, and the Gwich'in Social and Cultural Institute, among others.
Project sponsors including DeBeers Canada, First Air and Coast Fraser Tower Suite Hotel. This unique exhibit first opened at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre in 2010 to raise awareness of the Legendary Sky Project and to foster a new discussion about the Nature, Culture and Wonder of Canada’s Northern Sky. The original 12-month exhibit featured touch screen computers and informative Nature, Culture and Wonder display panels, along with other feature attractions.
