Report prepared for the Heritage Branch, Department of Tourism, Yukon Government. Report on file, Gwich'in Social and Cultural Institute, Tsiigehtchic & Yellowknife, NT. Report presents Teetl'it Gwich'in oral history information provided by Mr. Walter Alexie during the documentation of Gwich'in historic sites in the upper Blackstone River area by road and by helicopter in July 1999. This information assisted the Tombstone Steering Committee in recommending the final boundaries of the Tombstone Territorial Park which was traditionally used by three First Nations: Teetl'it Gwich'in, Tukudh Gwich'in and Tr'ondek Hwech'in. The project was a partnership between the GSCI, Tr'ondek Hwech'in First Nation, Yukon Heritage Branch and Yukon Renewable Resources.
